As the days get shorter and the festive season approaches, Stubbings Estate begins to take on a little extra magic. From family breakfasts with Father Christmas to our much-loved Christmas Market and creative seasonal workshops, there are plenty of reasons to make a visit to Stubbings part of your Christmas traditions this year.

Breakfast with Santa at Stubbings

What better way to start the Christmas season than with breakfast with Father Christmas?

Our much-loved Breakfast with Santa returns to Stubbings for 2026, with various dates throughout November and December.

Families can join us bright and early at 8am in our beautiful Glasshouse Café for a special festive breakfast. While you enjoy your meal, Father Christmas will make his way around the tables to meet the children and add a little Christmas magic to the morning.

Children aged 2–12 with a ticket will receive a festive gift and certificate from Santa, and there will be opportunities to capture those all-important Christmas photographs.

There’s a choice of breakfast options for both children and adults, including festive breakfasts, vegetarian options and waffles, with a hot drink for adults and juice for children included with the tickets.

It’s a lovely way to make Christmas memories together – and a particularly magical morning for little ones who are counting down the days until Christmas.

Breakfast with Santa takes place on selected dates in November and December 2026, and pre-booking is essential.

Stubbings Christmas Market

Our Local Producers Christmas Market takes place on Sunday 22nd November, from 10am to 3pm, in our beautiful Walled Garden.

If you’re looking to get ahead with your Christmas shopping – or simply enjoy a festive day out – this is a wonderful opportunity to support local producers and independent makers.

You’ll find a carefully selected collection of stalls offering everything from handcrafted gifts and festive decorations to jewellery, candles, homewares and artisan food and drink.

And, of course, no Christmas market would be complete without something delicious to eat and drink. There’ll be seasonal treats and savoury favourites available throughout the day, giving you plenty of opportunities to stop, relax and soak up the atmosphere.

One of the highlights returning to the market this year is the SHWA Siberian Huskies. Visitors will have the chance to meet these beautiful dogs, learn more about the breed and find out about the work of SHWA.

Best of all, entry to the Christmas Market is free.

So bring your family and friends, wrap up warm and come and enjoy a festive day at Stubbings.

Get Creative with Our Christmas Workshops

Christmas isn’t just about shopping and Santa. It’s also a wonderful time of year to slow down, get creative and make something special for your home.

This year, our festive programme includes Christmas Willow Workshops on 24th November and 8th December, as well as our Christmas Wreath Making Workshop on 4th December.

Christmas Wreath Making

On Friday 4th December, we’ll be welcoming Annie from Time to Blossom back to Stubbings for a morning of festive creativity.

Rather than making a traditional wreath, this workshop gives you the opportunity to create a beautiful living wreath using fresh foliage, seasonal flowers and natural festive details.

No previous experience is needed. Annie will guide you through the process, with all the materials and equipment provided.

Whether you’re making a wreath for your own front door or creating a handmade Christmas gift for someone special, it’s a lovely opportunity to enjoy some creative time in the run-up to Christmas.

And because every good creative morning deserves a little refreshment, your ticket also includes a hot drink and a freshly baked scone with jam and cream from the Stubbings Café.

The workshop begins at 10am and costs £74.95 plus booking fee. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
