These kiln dried softwood logs are processed using timber from managed woodland, dried to below 20% and ready to burn. Softwood Kiln dried logs are the ultimate fire-starter, great for building a fire and getting it going quickly and easily, particularly on a wood-burning stove. The modern ones will burn these efficiently too. We recommend getting the fire burning with these, then adding some of our hardwood kiln dried logs to keep the fire going.
