Walk with Ghosts 2024

Do you dare explore Stubbings’ private grounds in the dark this Halloween?
Professor Fredericks, a Victorian para-psychologist (an expert in ghosts), will guide you on a journey with tales of ghosts and supernatural sightings. Join him on a walk around the grounds of the old Manor house to discover the surprises that await you. Included in the ticket price will be a light dinner in the Café, along with a 25-30 minute walk round the Stubbings’ private grounds.
Kids – Halloween Baked Potato Skin “Pizza” with a Cheese & Tomato topping and a side of sweetcorn. Followed by an Eyeball Brownie with Blood Coulis and Vanilla Ice Cream.
Adults – Chilli Con Carne, Rice, Sour Cream and Cheddar Cheese and a side of Garlic Bread. Followed by a spooky Choco Brownie, with Blood Coulis and Vanilla Ice Cream.
Kids meal includes a glass of squash and the adults will be served a hot spiced fruit drink. More drinks / alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase on the night.
Vegetarian food options also available.
Timings:-
1st Scare – Dinner at 6 pm with the walk at 6.45 pm
2nd Scare – Dinner at 6:45 pm with the walk at 7.30 pm
3rd Scare – Dinner at 7:30 pm with the walk at 8.15 pm (THIS WALK WILL BE FOR AGE 15 YEARS AND OVER)
Halloween Fancy dress is encouraged for children and adults. Get some ideas here.
A light dinner will be served in the Café, followed by a 30 minute Halloween Ghost walk round the grounds of the old Manor house.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your chosen start time, ready with your clothing and equipment for the walk (a torch is helpful).
The walk takes place around the grounds of the main house after dark so we would advise against booking for those with any mobility impairment. Persons of a nervous disposition, pregnant or suffering from a medical or psychological condition are advised to consider the suitability of this event and the potential risks. The Ghost Walk involves unexpected situations and surprises which some people may find particularly frightening and shocking.
Sadly we are unable to accommodate dogs at this event.
Important information
Children must be supervised (no more than 2 children per adult). While the walk is not designed to be too scary, we do advise parents to consider suitability for their child. We recommend children should be over 5 years old and all participants must have a valid ticket for this event.

NB. The earlier walks are designed to be family-focussed. However, the third walk on each day will have a scarier theme, so we would strongly recommend this for 15 year old and over – please purchase an adult ticket for all participants, regardless of age for this walk.
Due to the tightly planned schedule the timings will be prompt so please arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled start time.
