Café Chef – Day-time only

Join our friendly kitchen team serving our 70 cover day-time only Café. We serve a contemporary breakfast menu, light lunches, snacks, daily specials, Afternoon Tea, coffees and home-made cakes with as much as possible sourced locally.

We are seeking a friendly and professional Chef to join our close-knit team to contribute in all aspects of delivering excellent quality and service to our customers. You must be interested in food and ideally have experience of dealing with short order food. You must also have excellent communication skills.

Suitable candidates will have experience in a food preparation environment, a cool head and an interest in cooking / food.

Please do not apply for this position if you are looking for summer or just weekend work, and/or are currently in full-time education.

The Café is open 7 days per week so weekend working is a requirement of this role, along with very occasional evening for special events.

The Café is located in a rural setting, so own transportation is essential.

This is a full-time, permanent role.

Assistant Manager (Retail Horticulture)

This is a new and exciting opportunity.

Stubbings Nursery is an established Horticultural Retail Business, set within the grounds and walled garden on Stubbings Estate near Maidenhead, Berkshire. The site has a strong horticultural heritage and specialises in specimen Trees, Shrubs, Topiary, Herbaceous Perennials and Fruit.

With exciting plans for growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced horticulturalist to join the team. The successful candidate will share responsibility for purchasing, and assist the Manager with all aspects of managing the plant business.

We are seeking a qualified Horticulturalist, with previous garden centre/plant area management experience, keen to further enhance their career.
