Both Nursery and Café are open 7 days per week, 9.00am to 5.00pm. The Café takes orders for hot food from 9.00am to 3.00pm, but takes drink and cake orders to 4.30pm. The Estate office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
We welcome dogs in the nursery and at the outside seating area of the café. There is an outside covered decking area with heaters for dog owners to use. Dogs are only allowed onsite when on lead and accompanied by a responsible adult. Dogs are not allowed in the indoor café seating area, or counter area (this does not apply to assistance dogs). Please clean up after your dog, and take your waste home with you.
Please only use the car parking at Stubbings if you are visiting the Café or Nursery, or as a guest of one of our residential or commercial tenants.
Stubbings Estate is private. Car Parking is solely for the use of customers and staff of the Nursery and Café within our opening hours, and tenants of the Estate, and their guests. Any cars found to be abusing the car park may be clamped for which a release fee will be payable.
Under each event listing there are specific contact details for queries. Please refer to the event page prior to calling the main telephone number as often the events are run by outside companies and we may not be able to answer your queries. Please see our current events and information here.

You can buy different ‘Stubbings’ vouchers for the café, and for the nursery . We also sell and redeem paper HTA vouchers that can be used in participating retailers across the UK. We are hoping to introduce gift vouchers for sale online in the near future.
There are customer toilets situated in the nursery for café and nursery customers.
The Café and Nursery are both wheelchair friendly, and there are 2 allocated disabled car parking spaces by the entrance.
Unfortunately not – currently we are cashless so all purchases must be made with credit or debit card. We do not accept American Express at the present time.
We do not take reservations for tables in the Café. Tables are offered on a first come, first served basis, unless you have pre-booked for a specific event such as Afternoon tea.
We have a range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options in the Café. Some nut-free cakes are also available. Please advise of us any allergies or intolerances when you place your order. Sorry for items freshly prepared from our kitchen we are unable to cater for nut allergies, and we cannot 100% guarantee gluten-free at this time.

If you are unable to book (or our special Afternoon Tea is not available on the date you wish to visit) please note that we serve great tea, great cakes, and cook a fresh batch of scones daily, served with jam and clotted cream.
If you are planning to visit us with a party of 12 plus people, please note that prior notification is required. This is because our Café can get busy and we want to ensure that we have all the arrangements in place to make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
We run a counter operation rather than restaurant table service so we are unable to control demand. At times the kitchen can become very busy. At the time of ordering you will be told whether there is a longer than normal wait on food.
Yes – most, if not all, of our food can be ordered to takeaway. Please advise at the time of ordering.
Stubbings Nursery is a Plant Centre and Café. Sorry – we do not provide preschool child-care services.

The web shop offers local delivery and click and collect on all listed products. A select range of home & garden products are also available for national delivery. The shop allows users to filter out products not suitable for national delivery (for example bulky items such as compost and stone).
We provide local delivery of shop goods and plants to a wide region around our base in Maidenhead. This includes Christmas Trees during November and December. Charges are applied at the till and vary depending on the delivery postcode. Delivery into London in the ULEZ, Congestion Charging, and LEZ zones are quoted for on a per case basis.
